In my professional life, I work in technology. I do many things in my role, but to put it simply, I work on helping to organize things as a type of project manager and I also help to "coach" people/teams forward so we can meet our deadlines. There is stress, but it is more manageable. We use a software methodology called Agile.
For the past six years, I have attended conferences and training sessions specific to this thinking. The most recent one, I verbalized out loud to myself that there was a market for this in the every day life. People have written books on the subject, but in my immediate circle, there isn't something that comes to the front of my mind that is a resource.
Many of us are stressed and overwhelmed by the chaos that is life. Juggling work, home, kids, spouse, friends, volunteering, working out, etc...can really take its toll on you emotionally.
Here is where I come in. I've simplified the method and it is known as The Agile Parent. Initially, it requires about two hours of your time each week. One hour is spent planning, the other hour is spent talking with me via email, Skype, phone, or Facebook message. It requires honesty, transparency, and trust. Our discussions will be kept confidential.
